With a large table in the centre of the room, warm festive decorating and archived artwork on the walls, the room spreads cheer and heritage of our beautiful pub.

Our Garden Room is a ground-floor, larger semi-private space for larger celebrations and casual drinks parties. Open up the doors to our patio and extend the space under our heated stretch tent, or cosy up next to the fireplace for a cosy atmosphere.

The room contains standing and seating space, great for colleagues drinks parties or for a full family get-together. Comfortably seating 45, this room is suitable for all styles of get-together.

We pride ourselves in beautiful Celebrations of Life, welcoming guests for a peaceful, respectful experience. With plenty of space in this room, we can provide tea and coffee stations, buffet options and space to commemorate your loved one.

Are You Dog Friendly?

Yes, we are dog friendly for events in our Garden Room and outside under our heated Barn.

What Are Your Capacities?

We can seat up to 24 comfortably in the Private Dining Room and 50 in our Garden Room. We can also offer a table of 20 in our Barn Area.

Do You Require Deposits?

Yes. We require a £10 per person deposit for any Private Space booking, which is redeemable from your bill on the day of your event.

Do You Require Pre-Orders?

Our Private Dining Room has a three-course set menu from Monday – Saturday, which we require a pre-order from 14 days before your booking. Please inform us of any dietary requirements during the booking process.

Can We Bring Table Decorations?

Absolutely. You can bring anything to jazz up the table, but we avoid confetti/confetti balloons.

What Are The Conditions of Your Private Room?

We require a minimum of 15 adults to rent our Private Room, along with a £10pp deposit and a pre-order Monday to Saturday.

We were a family of 18 celebrating my sister’s 90th Birthday so it was a very special day for us. Family members had travelled from Edinburgh, Durham, Plymouth, Cirencester, Herne Bay and Halstead to be with Wendy ( from Woking) on this her very Special Day. All our conversations and organising with Amy were first class with very fast replies. Some of us arrived early so that we could decorate the table. Flowers had already been delivered and were in safe keeping by the team. My wife had baked a special 90th cake which was received when we arrived and taken care of until required after our main course. The Onslow staff were excellent, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a table in the Garden Room which was so well placed as there were 5 cousins under 10 who constantly were outside playing. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all as was the drink’s service. Given the nod the cake was brought out at the right time. Although my wife and I do not live locally we have been to the Onslow Arms several times in the past before with friends who do, so we knew it was good. This time is was better than just good it was excellent. Congratulations to all the Staff at The Onslow Arms.

We booked the private dining room for our mum’s birthday, it was large enough to accommodate all the family and friends for mums day (22 of us in total). The booking systems was really good and worked well for our folks to make their choices, and we had some restrictions food wise for a few of our guests, that was well catered for. The communication with Amy was great and nothing was too much trouble, including organising a special menu for our younger group. Amy you were really helpful thank you. On the day, we had early access to the room to set up and decorate with flowers before mum arrived and drinks were arranged too. The room was clean and tidy and easy to set up. Tom looked after us during the meal and all went to plan, he was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble, always with a smile. The food was delicious and there were no complaints during or after about the meal. We were there from 11.30 to after 3.00 and at no point felt we were rushed and everything asked for was provided. We all felt that the lunch was great and good value. Mum had a wonderful time and is hoping we can repeat this very soon, hopefully with better weather so we can enjoy some time outside. We would definitely recommend. Thank you so much Onslow Arms for a wonderful day.
